Ingredients
1/2 cup Starburst Jellybeans, plus more for garnish
1 cup good quality vodka
2 oz Triple Sec or orange liqueur
2 oz fresh lemon or lime juice
1 oz simple syrup (optional)
Colored sugar for rim

Instructions
1. To make the infused vodka, combine 1/2 cup of Starburst jellybeans and 1 cup of vodka in a sealed glass jar.
2. Store the jar in a cool, dark place for 24-48 hours, shaking it a few times a day.
3. Strain the vodka through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth two or three times to remove all sugary sediment.
4. To prepare a cocktail, chill a martini glass and rim it with colored sugar using a lemon wedge.
5. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
6. Add 2 oz of the infused vodka, 1/2 oz of Triple Sec, and 1/2 oz of fresh citrus juice to the shaker. Add 1/4 oz simple syrup if desired.
7. Shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the outside of the shaker becomes frosty.
8. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass.
9. Garnish with a few jellybeans and serve immediately.
Notes
For a creamier cocktail, add a splash of pineapple juice or heavy cream. For a sparkling version, top with Prosecco or club soda. The infused vodka is best used within one month.
