Description

A crisp, zesty, and naturally hydrating drink made by infusing cold water with fresh cucumber and lemon slices. Perfect for boosting daily hydration, adding subtle vitamins and minerals, and enjoying a spa-like refreshment at home.

Ingredients

Scale

1 medium cucumber, washed and thinly sliced

1 medium lemon, washed and sliced into rounds

1.5 liters cold filtered water

Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

1. Wash cucumber and lemon thoroughly, keeping peels on for added nutrients and flavor.

2. Slice both thinly to maximize infusion surface area.

3. Add the cucumber and lemon slices to a pitcher.

4. Fill the pitcher with cold filtered water and stir gently.

5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to enhance flavor.

6. Serve chilled, optionally with ice cubes.

7. Refill the pitcher up to twice within 24 hours using the same cucumber and lemon slices.

Notes

For stronger flavor, lightly muddle cucumber and lemon slices before adding water.

Try adding fresh mint, ginger slices, or berries for creative variations.

Drink through a straw to minimize lemon acid contact with teeth.

Best consumed within 24 hours for optimal freshness and taste.
