Ingredients
3 to 4 fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
1 lime, cut into wedges (or 1 ounce fresh lime juice)
2 ounces vodka
3/4 ounce simple syrup or agave (adjust to taste)
Ice cubes
Splash of club soda or sparkling water
Fresh strawberry and lime wheel for garnish (optional)
Instructions
1. Wash and prepare the strawberries and lime.
2. Add strawberries and 2 lime wedges (or lime juice) to a cocktail shaker.
3. Gently muddle to release juices and flavor without over-crushing.
4. Pour in vodka and simple syrup.
5. Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds.
6. Strain into an ice-filled rocks or highball glass.
7. Top with a splash of club soda, garnish, and serve immediately.
Notes
Use ripe, fragrant strawberries for the best flavor.
Fresh lime juice is essential—avoid bottled juice for optimal taste.
Adjust sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup.
For a mocktail version, omit vodka and add extra sparkling water.
