  • Total Time: 7 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale

2 oz Empress 1908 Gin

0.75 oz Lillet Blanc (or dry vermouth)

0.5 oz Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice

0.25 oz Elderflower Liqueur (e.g., St-Germain)

Ice

Lemon Twist or Edible Flower for Garnish

Instructions

1. Chill a martini or coupe glass in the freezer for at least 15 minutes.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker two-thirds full with ice and add the gin, Lillet Blanc, lemon juice, and elderflower liqueur.

3. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker is frosty.

4. Strain the mixture into your pre-chilled glass.

5. Garnish with a lemon twist or an edible flower and serve immediately.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, use chilled butterfly pea flower tea instead of gin. To make a vodka-based version, substitute vodka for gin and add a splash of Crème de Violette for color. For a large batch, pre-mix the liquid ingredients in a pitcher and refrigerate.
