Ingredients
1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin (preferably grass-fed)
1/4 cup cold or room temperature pink liquid (hibiscus tea, unsweetened cranberry juice, etc.)
3/4 cup hot pink liquid (same as above, heated but not boiling)
Optional: 1 teaspoon honey or natural sweetener (stevia, monk fruit)
Optional: Squeeze of lemon or lime juice
Instructions
1. Pour 1/4 cup of cold pink liquid into a small bowl or mug.
2. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the liquid and let it bloom for 3-5 minutes until thick.
3. Heat 3/4 cup of pink liquid (do not boil) and pour it over the bloomed gelatin.
4. Stir continuously until the gelatin is fully dissolved and no granules remain.
5. Add sweetener or citrus juice if using, and stir to combine.
6. Drink warm or pour into a container and refrigerate until set.
7. Enjoy as a warm beverage or chilled snack.
Notes
Use high-quality, grass-fed gelatin for the most health benefits.
Try different pink liquids like rosehip tea, beet juice, or strawberry-infused water for variety.
Add cinnamon, ginger, or vanilla extract for flavor and extra wellness perks.
Start with half a tablespoon of gelatin if you’re new to it to avoid digestive discomfort.
Not suitable for vegetarians or vegans unless using a plant-based alternative like agar-agar (note: agar won’t provide the same amino acid benefits).
