A refreshing detox smoothie made with pineapple, ginger, leafy greens, and coconut water. Packed with anti-inflammatory ingredients and natural digestive aids, it’s the ultimate 5-minute boost to energize and reset your body.

  • Total Time: 5 minutes
  • Yield: 2 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1 ½ cups frozen pineapple chunks

1 cup fresh spinach or kale

1 inch fresh ginger, peeled and chopped

1 cup unsweetened coconut water or filtered water

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 tablespoon chia seeds or ground flaxseed (optional)

½ teaspoon turmeric powder (optional)

Instructions

1. Peel and chop the fresh ginger and squeeze the lemon juice.

2. Add the coconut water and lemon juice to the blender first.

3. Add the spinach or kale, chia or flaxseed, and turmeric if using.

4. Top with frozen pineapple chunks and the chopped ginger.

5. Secure the blender lid and blend on low, then gradually increase to high speed.

6. Blend for 45–60 seconds until smooth and creamy.

7. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed by adding half a banana or maple syrup.

8. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

Use frozen pineapple for a thick, frosty texture without adding ice.

To make it creamier, add half a banana or a tablespoon of almond butter.

Boost the protein by adding Greek yogurt, hemp seeds, or protein powder.

For a ready-to-blend option, prepare smoothie freezer packs in advance.

This smoothie is best enjoyed fresh but can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.
