Ingredients
2 ounces vodka
1½ ounces fresh peach puree or 3–4 ripe peach slices
½ ounce freshly squeezed lime juice
4–6 ounces high-quality ginger beer, chilled
Ice cubes or crushed ice
Fresh mint sprig, for garnish
Peach slice, for garnish
Lime wedge, for garnish
Instructions
1. If using fresh peaches, add the slices to a copper mug and gently muddle to release their juices. If using peach puree, pour it directly into the mug.
2. Add the vodka and freshly squeezed lime juice to the mug.
3. Fill the mug nearly to the top with ice.
4. Slowly pour in the chilled ginger beer, filling to the brim.
5. Gently stir to combine without losing too much carbonation.
6. Garnish with a mint sprig, peach slice, and lime wedge.
7. Serve immediately while ice-cold and bubbly.
Notes
Use ripe, in-season peaches for the best natural sweetness and flavor.
For a spicier variation, muddle a thin slice of jalapeño with the peaches.
Swap vodka for bourbon to create a Kentucky Peach Mule.
To make it non-alcoholic, omit vodka and add a splash of club soda.
Always use ginger beer, not ginger ale, for an authentic spicy kick.
