An elegant and simple-to-make cocktail that combines the rich flavors of coffee and chocolate with the smooth, earthy warmth of reposado tequila.

Ingredients

2 ounces Reposado Tequila

1 ounce Coffee Liqueur (e.g., Kahlúa)

1 ounce Chocolate Liqueur (e.g., Godiva)

1 ounce Freshly Brewed Espresso or Cold Brew Concentrate, chilled

1 ounce Heavy Cream or Half-and-Half

1/2 ounce Agave Nectar or Simple Syrup, to taste (optional)

Garnish: Chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or coffee beans

Instructions

1. Chill a coupe or martini glass in the freezer for 10-15 minutes.

2. Optionally, rim the chilled glass with chocolate syrup then a mixture of cocoa powder and sugar.

3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, then add the tequila, coffee liqueur, chocolate liqueur, chilled espresso, and heavy cream.

4. Add sweetener if desired, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds until the shaker is frosty.

5. Strain the mixture into the prepared chilled glass.

6. Garnish with chocolate shavings, cocoa powder, or coffee beans and serve immediately.

Notes

Use fresh, cooled espresso for the best flavor. For a vegan version, substitute heavy cream with full-fat oat milk or coconut cream and ensure liqueurs are dairy-free. A mason jar with a tight lid can be used in place of a cocktail shaker.
