A magical sweet-and-salty snack mix featuring green chocolate-coated popcorn, crunchy pretzels, festive candies, and sprinkles—perfect for St. Patrick’s Day parties.

  • Total Time: 1 hour 25 minutes
  • Yield: 12 servings 1x

Ingredients

Scale

1214 cups plain popped popcorn (kernels removed)

12 ounces white chocolate melting wafers or almond bark

Green gel food coloring

2 cups mini pretzels

1 cup green M&M’s or festive candies

1 cup Lucky Charms marshmallows

1/4 cup green and gold sprinkles

Optional: 1/2 cup salted peanuts or cashews

Instructions

1. Line one or two large baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

2. Place popped popcorn in a very large mixing bowl and gently stir in pretzels and candies.

3. Melt white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth.

4. Stir in green gel food coloring until desired shade is reached.

5. Pour melted green chocolate over popcorn mixture.

6. Gently fold mixture with a spatula until evenly coated.

7. Add Lucky Charms marshmallows and half of the sprinkles while chocolate is still slightly wet.

8. Spread mixture evenly onto prepared baking sheets in a single layer.

9. Sprinkle remaining sprinkles over the top before chocolate sets.

10. Allow to harden at room temperature for about 1 hour, then break into clusters and serve.

Notes

Work quickly once the chocolate is melted to ensure even coating.

Use plain or lightly salted popcorn for best flavor balance.

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.

For a gluten-free version, use certified gluten-free pretzels and candies.

Drizzle melted dark or milk chocolate on top for extra flavor contrast.
