8–10 fresh lemon balm leaves or 1–2 tsp dried lemon balm
1 small slice fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp ginger powder
2–3 slices fresh lemon or 1–2 tsp lemon juice

1 cup water

Instructions
1. Bring 1 cup of water to a gentle boil in a small pot or kettle.
2. Add fresh or dried lemon balm and ginger to the hot water.
3. Cover and let steep for 8–10 minutes to preserve the herb’s essential oils.
4. Strain the tea into a mug.
5. Add lemon slices or lemon juice and stir in honey once slightly cooled.
6. Customize the tea with cinnamon, mint, or additional lemon balm if desired.
