Description
A traditional Ayurvedic detox drink made by boiling cumin seeds in water. Jeera water supports digestion, boosts metabolism, and aids in weight loss naturally.
Ingredients
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1 cup (8 oz) filtered water
Instructions
1. Add cumin seeds to a saucepan with 1 cup of water.
2. Bring the water to a boil.
3. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until the water turns light brown.
4. Turn off the heat, cover, and steep for 10 minutes.
5. Strain and drink warm on an empty stomach.
Notes
For enhanced benefits, add fresh lemon juice, grated ginger, or raw honey.
Jeera water can be consumed 1–2 times daily depending on your health goals.
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat gently before use.
Avoid adding sugar or artificial sweeteners to maintain detox properties.
