Ingredients
5–6 fresh ginger slices
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 green tea bag
1 teaspoon honey (optional)
2 cups water
Instructions
1. Bring 2 cups of water to a gentle boil in a small pot.
2. Add the fresh ginger slices and let simmer for 5 minutes to infuse.
3. Turn off the heat and add the green tea bag, allowing it to steep for 3 minutes.
4. Remove the tea bag and ginger slices.
5. Stir in the lemon juice and honey until well combined.
6. Pour into a mug to enjoy warm or let cool and serve over ice.
Notes
Adjust the amount of ginger or lemon to your taste preference.
Try adding mint, cucumber slices, or a pinch of cayenne pepper for variations.
