Ingredients
1 tablespoon high-quality unflavored gelatin (preferably grass-fed)
1/4 cup cold or room temperature liquid (water, milk, etc.)
1 cup hot liquid (hot water, herbal tea, coffee, or warm broth)
Instructions
1. Add 1 tablespoon of gelatin to 1/4 cup cold or room temperature liquid in a mug or bowl.
2. Let the gelatin bloom for 3–5 minutes to hydrate and swell.
3. Add 1 cup of hot liquid to the bloomed gelatin.
4. Stir thoroughly until gelatin is completely dissolved with no lumps.
5. Drink while warm before it starts to gel.
6. Incorporate into coffee, tea, or broth for a convenient daily habit.
Notes
Start with 1/2 tablespoon if you’re new to gelatin to avoid potential digestive discomfort.
Use gelatin sourced from grass-fed, pasture-raised animals for better quality.
This trick is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans; agar-agar is an alternative but lacks the same amino acid profile.
Consistent daily use over several weeks or months is key to seeing results.
Try adding it to soups or smoothies for added versatility.
