Ingredients
1 cup fresh spinach (packed)
1/2 cup kale (stems removed)
1/2 cup frozen mango chunks
1/2 cup frozen pineapple chunks
1 medium ripe banana
1/2 to 1 inch fresh ginger, peeled
1 cup water or unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)
Instructions
1. Add water or almond milk to the blender first.
2. Add spinach and kale.
3. Add frozen mango, pineapple, and banana.
4. Add peeled ginger and optional ice cubes.
5. Blend on high for 45–60 seconds until smooth and creamy.
6. Taste and adjust: more ginger for spice, more mango for sweetness, or more greens for earthiness.
7. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.
Notes
To lower sugar, replace banana with avocado and reduce mango/pineapple.
Use frozen fruit instead of ice for a creamier texture.
This smoothie is ideal first thing in the morning, post-workout, or as a mid-afternoon energy boost.
For extra protein, add a scoop of unflavored protein powder or a tablespoon of chia seeds.
