A refreshing, nutrient-packed smoothie combining kale, spinach, mango, pineapple, and banana for a detoxifying and energizing drink inspired by Tropical Smoothie Café.
Ingredients
1 cup fresh spinach
½ cup fresh kale (stems removed)
½ cup frozen mango chunks
½ cup frozen pineapple chunks
½ medium ripe banana
¾ to 1 cup cold water or coconut water
1 cup ice cubes (optional)
1 tsp fresh ginger (optional)
Juice of ½ lime (optional)
1 scoop vegan protein powder (optional)
1 tbsp chia or flax seeds (optional)
Instructions
1. Add water or coconut water to the blender first.
2. Add spinach, kale, and banana to the blender.
3. Top with frozen mango, pineapple, and ice cubes.
4. Include any optional ingredients like ginger, lime juice, or protein powder.
5. Blend on high for 30–45 seconds until smooth and creamy.
6. Taste and adjust thickness or sweetness if needed.
7. Serve immediately or store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 24 hours.
Notes
To enhance sweetness without added sugar, use extra frozen pineapple.
Add a small piece of fresh ginger for digestive benefits and a flavor kick.
Use frozen fruit instead of ice for a thicker, smoother texture.
This smoothie is ideal as a breakfast, pre/post-workout drink, or midday snack.
