Description

A crisp, cooling, and naturally sweet infused water featuring cucumber and lemon, perfect for hydration, gentle detox, and a fresh twist on plain water.

Ingredients

Scale

1 medium lemon, sliced

½ large cucumber, sliced

8 cups cold filtered water

Optional: a few mint leaves or thin slices of fresh ginger

Instructions

1. Wash the lemon and cucumber thoroughly. If not using organic, scrub them or soak briefly in water with a splash of vinegar.

2. Slice the lemon and cucumber into thin rounds.

3. Place the slices at the bottom of a large pitcher.

4. Pour in the cold filtered water.

5. Optionally, add fresh mint leaves or thin slices of ginger for extra flavor.

6. Stir gently, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the flavors to infuse. For a stronger taste, let it infuse overnight.

7. Serve chilled, with or without ice, and enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, lightly muddle a few cucumber and lemon slices at the bottom of the pitcher before adding water.

You can also try adding berries for sweetness or use sparkling water for a fun variation.

Consume within 24 to 48 hours for the freshest taste, and keep refrigerated.
