1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup light brown sugar, packed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 cup colorful sprinkles (jimmies)

1 cup candy-coated chocolate Easter eggs, chopped and divided

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch pan with parchment paper.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.

3. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking vigorously until the mixture is smooth and glossy.

4. Fold in the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt until just combined.

5. Gently fold in the sprinkles and half of the chopped chocolate Easter eggs.

6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.

7. Sprinkle the remaining chopped chocolate Easter eggs over the top.

8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center has moist crumbs.

9. Let the blondies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting and serving.
