Ingredients

Scale

2 inches fresh turmeric root (or 1 tsp turmeric powder)

1 inch fresh ginger root

Juice of 1 lemon

¼ tsp black pepper

1 tsp raw honey

½ cup filtered water

1 orange (peeled)

½ tsp turmeric powder

Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional)

½ cup kale or spinach

½ cup pineapple chunks

Instructions

1. Peel and grate the turmeric and ginger.

2. Blend turmeric, ginger, lemon juice, black pepper, honey, and water until smooth.

3. Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth into a glass jar.

4. For the citrus blast version, blend orange, lemon juice, ginger, turmeric, cayenne, and water until liquid.

5. Strain if preferred and serve chilled.

6. For the green antioxidant shot, blend kale or spinach, pineapple, ginger, lemon juice, turmeric, and water until smooth.

7. Strain and store each version in airtight glass jars in the fridge for up to 5 days.

8. Shake well before each use as natural separation occurs.

9. Drink in the morning on an empty stomach for best results.

10. Rotate between flavors throughout the week for variety and balance.
